The Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization (“MISMO”) has chartered a working group to create and maintain a standard template for lenders to use to document closing instructions for escrow agents. This program will discuss the process being used by the MISMO working group and status of the project. MISMO is actively seeking input from both lenders and escrow agents on the project. Members of the working group will provide an overview of the project to date, answer any questions and listen to input from the AEA.
